Sports Chiropractic

In addition to chiropractic adjustments (joint manipulation), sports chiropractic attaches great importance to the care of soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia) as well as the proper activation of these muscles during the trainings (neuromuscular system).
Different techniques of analysis and treatment are used such as Active Release Techniques (ART), Graston Techniques, neuro-proprioceptive taping (Kinesiotaping) SFMA, etc.
These techniques are generally intended to break the adhesions between the muscle fibers, ligament and tendon while restoring the amplitudes of joint movement. Rehabilitation exercises (stretching, warming up and strengthening) and various boards (technical and nutritional) supplement care for optimal recovery of the athlete.
Momentum Chiropractic Chiropractors can refer to an interdisciplinary work right inside the clinic if the athlete has more specific needs for athletic performance.
